Exploring Shapes, colours, techniques and patterns over on pinterest, along with some additional techniques to help with the collage aspect of the film- my board for this project can be found here
One in 8 Million is a really inspiring work created by the New York Times, exploring the diversity in New York City by using both image and sound bites (under 3 minutes) from the people. The serious has actually won an Emmy in the “New Approaches to Documentary” Category
The pieces have really beautiful black and white photography and the person speaking over it and you can really get a sense of who they by seeing the serious of still images of them and their habitat. The serious interviews people of all ages and from all backgrounds.
Overlays exploring scenery in Ireland really nice textures on these images and seamless integration
Experimenting with possible techniques which could be used in the background of the film
Some beautiful shots in this piece “Insight”
ont i liked in particular was the colours on this as it looks like an old photo which has been worn by time
I liked how this piece “photodoc” built up in the amount of images used as a timeline
Really like the styling of this video by “Papercutz”
The piece “Hybrid” uses one of the techniques i have been looking into which is double exposure.
I like how “Out-takes from the life of a happy man” is montaged together. Really nice grainy texture too
Again using the double exposure technique again in “salience”
