These figures were found by the Department of Education following an assembly question. The detailed list of figures is below. I hadn’t thought about the added element of languages and communication. The figures are for primary schools but i will research more into this and find out more information about secondary schools but i feel they will be similar.
This article also reminded me about this post on the “Love What Matters” Facebook page about a child communicating without language and how we don’t need words to help people. Makes me think i should incorporate more hidden tasks/ instructions for the teachers to do subliminally for the children? e.g. more compliments? Food for thought!
